La Marmoire

"This is a wonderful place to stay, in the countryside with no sounds but birdsong, but easy to find. It was convivial too, and the chance to eat a good evening meal there as well as the openness of the hosts helped the guests to socialise. The house is beautiful, and has a lovely garden too. It was also very comfortable, and there was lots of space for sitting and chatting. For a cyclist, great to have a bath, and a good place for the bicycle."

"Corinne and Laurent were excellent hosts and fulfilled my expectation of experiencing a taste of French living far away from tourist route. Our group of four friends enjoyed the tranquility of the rural position, eating home cooked food outdoors on a warm Autumn evening. Fantastic!"

"The setting of La Marmoire is beautiful, with very friendly hosts, quaint and characterful rooms, so picturesque, a magnificent house and gardens. We booked an evening meal and are so glad we did, it was all so delicious, home cooked and served with a lovely view out to the garden. Breakfast was also lovely and set us up for our day of motorcycle touring. There is hard standing for bike parking. Spend some time here to use the pool and appreciate the peaceful setting, we didn't stay for long enough and hope to return in the near future."

"We stayed here this weekend to attend a wedding locally. The hosts were so accommodating I had booked a triple room for myself, husband and daughter but accidentally only booked for two adults! We also arrived at nearly midnight and Corrine was still there to welcome us and sort the room so it was fine for the three of us. The location is lovely. Really remote and quiet. The pool was lovely! We didn’t use the hot tub as it was such a hot weekend! Our room was perfect! Breakfast was lovely! And we especially loved the friendly cats!! Would HIGHLY recommend this place! Thank you to Corrine & Laurent for looking after us so wonderfully!"
