"A lot to like about this place. Super nice staff. Tesla superchargers in the parking lot. We did not have dinner as we were too late to book- our own fault as it was a busy Saturday. But they have a brilliant fridge with interesting takeaway meals/salads, all made with really unusual ingredients. Feels like a family run hotel. Very clean and comfortable beds."

"Just some small details, in the bedroom (236) the edges of the bed were super sharp and caused a small ankle injury. Also the controls for both very bright reading lights were only on one side of the bed, instead of having the controls on both sides."

"Fabulous location ideally situated near to Chambéry. Great restaurant and bar, welcoming staff."

"The room was a bit basic and the floors were quite dirty. I found lots of dust and fluff in the corner of the room near the bedside table. The pillows were lumpy and only provided two (for one double bed /2 guests)."

"Would have been nice for the hotel to send us a message - if we were going to eat in the restaurant. The place was heaving due to a ski coach trip so we didn’t get chance to eat or drink there soon after arrival. Shower door in the bathroom doesn’t stop the water getting through! Poor water pressure at the sink (but not the shower 🤷🏼‍♂️)."

"Fantastic and will definitely be back. Staff were amazing as a large amount of people where brought off the mountain a day early because of snow conditions. They handled the crowds well."

"This is overall a very nice looking property and well located. The rooms were spotless, and the food was excellent in the restaurant, the staff in the bar and restaurant were delightful and couldn’t have been nicer."

"The night receptionist was very rude, curt and inhospitable. We were running late for dinner, and called at 2110 for our 2100 reservation, to say we would arrive shortly. He told us curtly that the restaurant was shut, and that we couldn’t eat there. After we had driven all day from London and specifically booked the hotel as it has a restaurant. He offered no alternatives and was indifferent. We started trying to even order Domino’s in desperation during our last 10 minutes drive. We arrived at the hotel at about 2125. There was no one at check in (fine) we called the number, and the same guy was again very short with us and said he would come. In the meantime we saw the restaurant was full of people, and busy. We went in and asked for a table. The staff couldn’t have been nicer, very welcoming, immediately got us a table, menus and drinks. We have no idea why he said we couldn’t eat, they had no issue at all about us being late, and were thankful we had tried to call. The room was very pleasant, spotless and well appointed - the curtain in 103 is not at all thick, and the lights in the street shine in, it would be great to improve this."

"The staff were excellent throughout the stay. The room we slept in was very good, nice en-suite, good bed and bedding. The restaurant food was really well cooked."

"Slight mix up at first and we were put in a cabane (which we had booked for our second stay) which wasn't the room we had booked on that occasion. This was remedied once I queried it. The directions for getting into the hotel itself were not as clear as they might be, plus it's also the name of a shop in Chambéry town, so be careful if you're using Google maps."

"The staff are all lovely. We have stayed there twice now and both rooms have been good. We were upgraded to a suite on the last stay, which had a kitchenette and a bedroom upstairs. The beds are extremely comfortable and the bed linen is high quality, with slippers and bathrobes provided. The food in the restaurant is wonderful, and breakfast is high quality. We didn't use the spa or gym, but they looked good."

"The directions for driving into the hotel are a bit sketchy, but that could just be the strange road layouts! The suite we had was lovely but the toilet was downstairs, with no wash hand basin, so you have to go back upstairs to wash your hands. In our other room this wasn't an issue. Also although the bedroom and bathroom are lovely, there is no mirror in the bedroom and no socket in the bathroom - so hair styling is difficult if you're not using the hairdryer provided in the bathroom. Again, this wasn't an issue in the room we previously stayed in. It certainly didn't detract too much from the whole enjoyment of our stay."
