"This splendid old fashion hotel is in the heart of Ceret and ideally placed for restaurants and visiting the Modern Art Museum. The entrance is through magnificent wrought iron gates into a courtyard with a stairway leading up to the entrance proper. The exterior is decorated with pargeted motifs of palm trees..Artefacts adorn the landings and rooms are basic but absolutely fine."
"Little has probably changed over the past three ownerships but that is part of the charm - the breakfast was excellent and generous and took place in the old dining room which is decorated with art and photographs from the same epoch as the artworks in the Ceret Museum."

"A unique hotel with ancient character and lots of greenery. Very friendly owner. Very clean, simply furnished, very comfortable double room. We really enjoyed the French breakfast."

"A lovely and personable stay. Great location, homey breakfast and Marc and Katie, the proprietors are so helpful and kind. It is an old hotel so the sounds do travel between the rooms. I'm very sensitive to smells and mold and I will say these rooms are clean and I had no issues. The beds and linens have a welcome comfortability."
