"A charming and authentic hotel, set in a 1912 building, located in a rural area. Beautifully decorated and furnished, perfectly clean and neat. The atmosphere made us feel as if we were visiting our wealthy French granny. Breakfast was tasty and surprisingly rich, with homemade pastry and fruit salad."

"A hidden gem in the French Alpes Maritimes! We spend 1 night in Hôtel de Etrangers and enjoyed every minute of it. The hotel is beautifully refurbished and has all the modern comfort without having lost its charm. The owner is absolutely wonderful: with great passion he looks after his hotel, his guests and the delicious meal he serves at night. We ate at the balcony with gorgeous view into the Var-valley. The breakfast was also very generous. We really hope to come back another time. Thank you for having us!"

"Stunning small hotel in an incredible setting. We had cycled there and they were able to accommodate our bikes no problem. The hosts are lovely and extremely helpful. The dinner was the best meal we had all trip and the breakfast was great too (homemade bread and croissants)"

"Charming little hotel managed by the owner himself, the rooms are tidy, comfortable and it's a nice spot to rest when hiking/traveling in "le Mercantour". Dinner is optional and cooked by the owner himself for €27 (delicious, very convenient and exclusive for guests only)."
