DameChouette

"lovely place tucked away in the countryside. the pool was perfect and the gardens were lovely"

"curtains weren’t very blackout but otherwise lovely"

"Dame Chouette is French Countryside Cottage Dream. We were there for a nearby wedding, just a few minutes away from the venue so our location was ideal. The house feels like the most authentic European countryside experience with eclectic decor, beautiful grounds & a lovely host. Sophie was so accommodating and helpful with anything we needed. She takes care of the property and the grounds with the love and care that shines through in fresh flowers & luscious greenery. The pool was a lovely surprise- a perfect way to spend a relaxing morning- it was pristine & refreshing. I would highly recommend Dame Chouette for nearby weddings/ a creative moment to recharge or a European summer escape."

"The location is ideal for venues in the area but it is remote if you don't have anything specific planned. Just be aware of planning transportation/ activities ahead of time. On the flipside- the distance from the business of Paris/ Bordeaux is a peaceful way to relax and rejuvenate."

"Location , very quite and tranquil spot . Very country living vibes but with great comfort ."

"Slight smell of dump In the room likely because of the building age but it was not too bothering ."

"Location great. Quiet surrounding. Decoration very special. Sophie was very helpful and communicated often."

"Not sure which room was our room on arrival."

"A perfect getaway. A peaceful haven in the beautiful French countryside. The gardens were so pretty and Sophie was amazing!! The best homemade pizza and breakfast delivered to our cottage! And not forgetting the friendly chickens and stunning views!"

"Fantastic setting with a lovely pool, very courteous host who gave the best advice on where to go out to eat and what to visit."

"Mild benefit would be a fridge or somewhere to keep water or drinks cool."

"Super l' accueil Bon petit déjeuner avec confiture maison calme Beau jardin"

"Heel fijn verblijf gehad hier.

"Calme absolu. Sympathique accueil. Bon petit déjeuner avec confitures maison."

"Lit un peu court."
