"Location amazing, in amongst vineyards with Chateau Yquem next door. Getting off a 120 mile bike ride and straight in the swimming pool (after a shower) was heavenly, we had a completely separate well-equipped gite building to ourselves, evening meal and wine excellent (of course) and funny patron. All in all, perfect for what we were doing (riding across France on bikes), a godsend."

"Quirky , fabulous stay . Stayed two nights instead of one as originally planned - two lovely evening meals and our dog was treated exceptionally well - he loved the chance to run off lead in the garden."

"Notre passage dans la chambre la Barrique fut des plus agréables, au-delà de sa décoration authentique et audacieuse, la vue imprenable sur les vignes est tout simplement splendide ! Une mention spéciale au patron, affable et serviable, et grâce à qui nous n'avons manqué de rien. Un séjour rapide mais remarquable et mémorable !"

"Geweldige locatie midden in de wijnvelden van Sauternes, waar het huis en het zwembad over uitkijken. Zeer attente host Pascale, die alles zelf regelt en ook nog heerlijk kookt. Klassieke maar gezellige en schone kamers. Prijs-kwaliteit die je zelden nog vindt."
