"The owners (a lovely couple) are doing an amazing job transforming an old chateau to a gorgeous, rustic boutique hotel that's true to its original style and character. It's a beautiful place with a relaxed vibe, clearly made with love and run entirely by them. Apart from a gorgeous setting, they also offer dinner, which I'd highly recommend — we had some delicious local beef and wine. We certainly hope to come back soon!"

"Sandrine and Sylvain are such a lovely and welcoming couple. They made us feel extremely at ease during our stay and couldn’t do enough for us. The property is impressive and you can see the work that has gone in to it with a view to more work to take place in the future. The food we ordered was lovely. We both had the burgers and didn’t expect to have the lovely salad to start along with a homemade chocolate sponge cake which had been made by their daughter to finish! The room was incredibly spacious and the bed was out of this world. I slept like a baby both nights. I particularly liked the fact we order order drinks and food with a text message to Sandrine which she then brought straight to you. All the food and drinks were reasonably priced which was an added bonus."

"There were some areas which I felt could have been improved on but it certainly wouldn’t put me off coming again and hope this is seen as constructive feedback: - Cleanliness could be improved in the room. - The shower head is positioned awkwardly and this is due to the slope on the bath. Water also came out the shower head in a all directions but this could be easily fixed with a new washer or shower head. - Food had been brought out to another family and the leftovers were still there the following afternoon which was slightly off putting. - The freezer compartment was slightly dirty. - Lack of coffee so we could enjoy a drink in the morning. - One of the towels had bleach stains on it. All of the above wouldn’t put me off coming again and my view, the enhanced attention to detail would raise this stay up another notch for sure."
