But what truly made our stay special were the hosts. They are incredibly warm, genuine, and welcoming people. We never felt like customers, but rather like personal guests in their home. "We loved our room high up behind the castle with a balcony to watch the sunset from. We arrived at the end of our walk on the Chemin de Stevenson and found it quite easy to walk up to the chateau from town, throughbeautiful woods. The very best part of our stay was our hosts who were extremely welcoming and kind, including helping us with dinner ingredients after we had found the grocery shop closed. The kitchen is excellent, as was the breakfast."
