B&B Villa Roumanille

"BB Villa Roumanille is a beautiful old house that has been in the owner's family for many years. The host, Delphine was very helpful, welcoming and there if you needed help but you were allowed to enjoy the premises without being bothered. Our bedroom was huge and bathroom was clean and efficient but retained the character of the house. Breakfast was simple but good and again you were left to your own devices. Car parking was spacious and on the day of checkout we could leave the car there to explore the city. The place was about a fifteen minute walk from the centre but once there the town centre offered an enormous number of great restaurants, bars, museums and interesting places to visits. There was a mini bus hop-on hop-off service in the town which was very inexpensive and was a great way to see everything We stayed only one day which was not enough time there. Aix de Provence is a city that is historic, vibrant and has just that lovely feel to it."

"Our stay here made our time in Aix truly unforgettable. Each morning began with a delicious, relaxing breakfast, followed by a leisurely 10-minute stroll into the city center. When we grew tired, we could return to our sunlit room for a restful nap. In the evenings, we enjoyed wandering through town again before returning to the villa for an exceptional dinner. Thanks to Cedric, we were able to enjoy this wonderfully slow and peaceful rhythm of vacation. The room was comfortable and impeccably maintained, and both the meals and the wine were outstanding. The other guests we met were delightful as well. Cedric’s kindness and hospitality made our stay even more special. We would love to return the next time we come back to Aix."

"Great location, only a short walk to the centre. The owners are absolutely lovely people and always on hand if we had any queries. The villa is lovely with a beautiful garden and as a bonus we had room with a balcony, perfect for morning coffee (just watch out for the mosquitoes!)"

"A quiet, private (and large) villa in the university area of Aix, away from the hustle and bustle of the central area. An easy 20 minute walk to the Cours Mirabeau. Large bedroom, excellent bathroom, and super continental breakfast. Private patio area for guests. Delightful and courteous owner."

"We arrived late at night,a small welcome pack would have been great as the property is a 20 minute walk into Aix and we did not have a car.Breakfast the next day was typically French but was good value for money and very fresh locally sourced produce,"
