"The location. The accommodation was clean. Comfortable and welcoming. Everything we needed was there. Great space for the dogs to run about after a long drive. It is one of the best places we have stayed in. Will book again if we are in the area. Definitely. The village is beautiful and the bakery in Fricourt is the best. Really handy for Albert and travelling back to England via the tunnel. Easy drive. Thankyou."

"The short drive up to the house is very steep with loose gravel. Care needs to be taken, but any vehicle will manage it easily."

"Perfect location for our purpose (touring WW1 sites). Ideal size with all the amenities you could need, warm, comfy beds, great shower, overall a very welcoming place to stay, would recommend and definitely visit again, thank you. (The tomatoes were a nice touch, sorry we didn't get around to eating them.)"

"Lovely house with a nice garden and outside dining area. Had everything you need and very spacious, clean and well maintained. Location was perfect for visiting the war memorials. Would defiantley recommend a stay here."

"Fantastically peaceful setting. We stayed in early January so the real fire was a wonderful touch. Spotlessly clean and a great place to stay. We bought food from the supermarket in Albert and cooked in the kitchen area which had everything."

"The drive to the property is very steep and I managed to ground the front of the car on the road due to the steepness. There’s not much turning space at the top."

"Die Lage des Hauses war sehr ruhig, kleines nettes Dorf. Das Haus hat eine gute Größe und wir haben gut geschlafen. Die Übergabe des Schlüssels über den Safe war für uns perfekt. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern auch. Die Eier und der bereits vorbereitete Kamin waren sehr nett! Auch der kabellose Staubsauger war sehr praktisch mit Hunden."

"Wir hätten uns über eine normale Kaffeemaschine gefreut, leider nur Pad. Auch über einen Läufer im Bad. Auch die Seife war alle. Die Auffahrt war ein echtes Problem für unser Auto- sehr steil und mit Löchern, eher für Geländefahrzeuge geeignet. Sauber war es leider auch nicht überall- Haare auf den Sitzkissen, auf der Couch und den Decken. Teilweise dreckiges Geschirr. Leider haben wir diese Erfahrung schon öfter gemacht bei Unterkünften die vorrangig für Zwischenübernachtungen genutzt werden, es wird sich da nicht so richtig Mühe gegeben- schade. Kommt so für uns nicht nochmal in Frage."

"Der Vermieter reagierte sofort auf Anfragen sehr freundlich. Die Unterkunft war klein und gemütlich. Wir hatten sogar als kleines Gastgeschenk ein paar frische Eier vom eigenen Hof bekommen."
