"Very friendly and helpful host, the surroundings are great, the people are very friendly, no tourists. I was in Cairo to carry out a photo and video project, which worked out wonderfully. The internet is very slow at peak times, but that's the case almost everywhere in Cairo. Don't book if you're afraid of heights, as the view is fantastic. The only drawback is the second bedroom, which is very noisy because of the lift. All in all, a wonderful place if you want to get to know and understand people."

"From airport arrival to departure, everything about this stay was incredibly welcoming. I stayed for three weeks, which says a lot in itself, and it was the perfect base throughout.
The location is ideal—great for visiting the main sights, yet peaceful enough for relaxing days. Everything is within easy walking distance, including plenty of restaurants, and the room was spotless.
The staff were excellent, always helpful with organising trips and offering local advice. A real bonus was the accommodation’s own motorboat for trips, plus easy taxi arrangements. They also organised excursions further afield, including Cairo and Aswan, which were handled seamlessly.
Breakfast was fantastic every morning. Overall, an excellent stay—I would highly recommend."
