"Great location, really central location to Charles Darwin Ave and the port. Good value for money, very reasonably priced. Basic but clean. HOT SHOWERS!"

"A bit noisy on the road outside the hotel, shower flow wasn’t perfect but it was hot which the main thing! The room was a little basic but met our needs."

"Fabulous hotel with lovely garden in centre of Banos. Very good breakfast with lots of fresh fruit. Very friendly hosts. Quiet even though in centre of city."

"The location, the experience and the staff were all tremendous. This is a bucket list trip to be in the middle of the amazon, and La Selva ensured that trip was one to remember. A lovely and recently renovated lodge, with wonderful staff who make you feel right at home - in a prime location in the middle of the Amazon off the Napo river. Dont think twice - book this place!"

"A beautiful and peaceful location outside of Otovalo, ideally located for the Trans Ecuador Mountain Bike Route. We arrived late, but with a very warm welcome from Christian and his wife, Brigitte, who lit a roaring fire for us and cooked up excellent food. Strongly recommended."

"Location was amazing. Tour options into the forest are very good. The tour guide is a local with a lot of knowledge. The staff was friendly and helpful. Food is good, abundant and was prepared at the order. Free drinkable water is a life saver. Considering you are at the edge of the forest, the rooms are as clean as they can be, but dont expect too much."
