Housed in a carefully restored period building, Pension Athanor is located in Cesky Krumlov, only 300 metres from the historic city centre. "It is close to the old town center, but it’s at a quiet spot. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The personell atentative, helpful and very nice people! We had a great time!"

"This is a gorgeous little pension. We were met and taken care of throughout our stay by the amazing Ema, who provided us with maps, town excursions, and recommendations for where to dine. She also went out of her way to make us a perfect breakfast each morning. The free on site parking was an absolute bonus too. Highly recommend!"

"A fantastic location, beautifully clean, lovely decoration and lots of space to spread out. Also a cute little garden to sit and have a quiet pre dinner drink if it’s not raining."

"The location, equipment and cleanliness of the apartment were perfect. A well-furnished modern apartment has been created in the centuries-old building. The host's kind welcome and attention were above average. The private parking in the garden is very convenient and you don't have to pay extra for it. This is very rare near the old town. It was nice to stay here and next time we go, we will book here again."

"Excellent location, big flat, quiet and comfortable. Quite basic but we had everything we needed for 1-night stay."

"The bed and breakfast is at a fantastic location near Hřensko. It is about 3 km down the road. When we were there the road was closed so we hiked only around the actual bed and breakfast. Even thought it is not in the main natural reserve the surrounding is beatiful. The BB itself is well kept, lots of wood panelling, traditional, old school, kind of what you would expect. There is large "food hall" with a reception where you can also get drinks in the evening. Dinner was included in the price of the room and it was a řízek and some soup. There were not really any vegetarian options aside from a side salad. The wine from the bar was surprisingly good for the countryside. They also served several beers on tap. We stayed on a Friday night which also included live music performance. The quality was in tune with the BB. There is a fairly large parking lot behind the BB with plenty of space."

"The staff members are all very kind and acted always professional. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of different offerings and we could try every morning something different. We were in a great room with a nice master bed. Upstairs were four single beds and our older children could sleep there. There was a small fridge -perfect for a few items and for medicals. The bathroom was very modern and everything neccessary was inside. We also rented a bowling lane and had fun playing. It would be nice to have a pantry kitchen in the apartment to prepare a snack or small meal. Definetely a nice place to stay!!! We'll want to come back again."

"Good location with a few minutes of walking to the main places of interest, cosy equipped rooms with kitchenette. You can get any wines or beverages available in the self-service bar. Nice and tasty breakfast. Very supportive staff. Also there is parking in front of the hotel. So you shouldn't care about where to park in Janské Lázně."

"Sehr zuvorkommende und freundliche Gastgeber, vielen Dank dafür. Traumhafte Lage, zum Entspannen und genießen gedacht. Leckeres und mit viel Liebe zubereitetes Essen, das Bier schmeckt auch sehr gut. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Die Kartoffelpuffer mit Harzer Käse gefüllt muss man unbedingt probieren…Sie schmecken köstlich! Aber auch Schnitzel war hervorragend zubereitet!"
