"The ambient, the location, the staff and the facilities. They constantly try to maintain the space clean. During my stay they changed the cooking pots and pans. It's pretty well organized and Alex, the owner is super kind and the staff too."

"It's more about some people not doing their dishes and I felt bad for the people working there that really put all the love to keep the space clean .. . Some pictures did not match exactly the place and it triggered me in the beginning but I really loved everything afterwards."

"Comfortable beds with curtains for privacy and a fan in each bed to keep you cool. There was one hot shower working when we were there which was much appreciated, and the kitchen was spacious and well equipped. There was a social area to hang out but the vibe was very laid back and chill when we were there."

"The location was good, a little far from the center, but it was relatively quiet. The air conditioning worked well most of the time, maybe too well. It was freezing at night. There were fitness and yoga facilities right next to the stream, which was cool, and the whole area was clean and cute."

"Some of the staff knew English and some didn't, but only some were nice. When they gave me a tour of the hostel, they didn't tell me about the facilities and they didn't tell me about one shower that had hot water. Luckily, I found out in the end that there was one shower with hot water, which was not right. And on the last day, I found out that there was a cool gym that was on the other side of the hostel. In fact, the staff lied that there was no shower with hot water because it was really cold at night, so why is that?"

"Look nowhere else and stay here. Such a lovely hostel owner, clean rooms and great location. The hostel was super cheap compared to everywhere else we stayed in costa rica. Kitchen was so well quipped and the hostel has a table tennis table and gym"

"Loved this hostel! Very clean room and bed, nice outdoor space to socialise, play table tennis or chill in a hammock. Large lockers were very useful, the staff let me keep my bags in there between checkout and leaving for my next location which was much appreciated! Friendly staff and great location - about ten minutes' walk from the bustle of the main town."

"4-beds dorm is spacious with the lockers outside. Very good kitchen with everything you need to cook your daily meals, lovely sitting area neat to the river, but there were noisy works during the day. 3 toilets and 3 showers for everyone."

"Walk of 10-15 mins to the good supermarket and major town spots. Didn't see it as particularly social hostel, but everyone was nice."

"Amazing social hostel with beautiful common area. There are also tables with sockets for when you want to work. The beds have curtains so you are not too bothered when you want to sleep and others are awake, as well as sockets. Wonderful garden with free gym. Also free coffee in the morning. Whatsapp group that helps socialize and plan trips together. The location is not in the city center, but remember you'll likely use car or Uber to move around, so it doesn't really matter. There still is a grocery store and a couple of restaurants in the area. The center is just 10 minutes walking distance."
