"The breakfast came with fruit, protein, and rice. It was free, so no problem with that. The dinner was excellent. The bar had a really nice choices of wine, beer, or liquor. The mountain views and fresh air were exceptional. It's in a rural location, so in my opinion, this is the optimal place if you're traveling, for example, between San Jose and Puerto Viejo to a stop and relax for a day to catch up. The pics are as advertised. It's a really beautiful B&B, tiled balcony, and the people who run it (seems to be a family) are very nice and accommodating. Wifi was strong (no TV in room so bring laptop for Netflix or something). Staying here was well worth the price."

"It can be humid, and although we knew there wasn't an AC, there wasn't a ceiling or stand up fan provided either. I would definitely bring a portable fan to this location. Also, if you need really soft pillows, bring your own. I found them to be a tad stiff."
