"Don't waste your time looking elsewhere - Sunset Quay is the best place to stay in Rarotonga. Lara is an awesome host - so friendly, helpful and kind. The house is incredibly well equipped with everything you could possibly want. The layout of the property is great for a big family or group of friends travelling together, there's lots of space and different areas to have a bit of privacy. The location is excellent, around 15 minutes to the airport and the main part of Rarotonga. There's a handful of lovely cafes within walking distance - including Beluga which is the best coffee on the island. We stayed in two places on Rarotonga and wished we had just spent our whole time at Sunset Quay."

"We were a family of 5 adults and 3 children aged 4, 1.5 and 6mths. The villa had everything we could possibly need and plenty of space for us all. Running around after the 1.5 yr old so he didn’t fall in the pool kept us all on our toes. Lots of great places to eat nearby. We had a fantastic time. Lara and her crew were always available to deal with any queries."

"Beautiful, clean, and comfy house. Aircon in all the bedrooms. Perfect entertaining areas, excellent for a group/ family. There are so many extras and inclusion, including wifi. Comfy beds and pillows and so clean! Lara was easy to deal with, friendly with excellent communication throughout our booking and stay. Perfect location. Thank you from the Henry family, we hope to be back again soon 😊"

"I loved that it was nestled in its own private space. There are 4 lodges in the vicinity and all have their own balcony’s that you can enjoy individually. Our water pressure was great. Also the unit was nice and clean."

"Everything on the island is relaxed and fairly simple, however the service from Robyn and AV team was truly exceptional from the moment we walked off the plane and were greeted. We had initially been slightly concerned after reading reviews about the restaurant being closed on Mondays, but there are plenty of great dining options across the island, so this is definitely not an issue. The accommodation itself is simple but has everything you need. What really made the experience special was how looked after we were it felt like being welcomed back as out-of-town family. The aunties made sure we experienced the very best of Aitutaki and created such a memorable stay. My daughter got heat stroke, and the AV team were incredible, changed our flights, took us to the hospital & made us extremely comfortable while it was quite stressful. Highly recommended!! Next time we will change the ratio of nights - we definitely will spend more time at AV in Aitutaki."

"Privacy and had everything you needed to keep it that way. We used their catering company for platters and as a treat they were really good. We had the sunset platter on the evening we arrived and the breakfast platter (really loved this platter) to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Photos below. It rained dor a few days while we were there but the pool meant we could still swim everyday in the rain as it was still humid/warm. The Villa provided complimentary eggs (6x) bread, butter, jam, cereals and milk. These went quite a long way for the 2 of us. The bed was comfortable too and we slept really well."

"We liked EVERYTHING. Couldn't find anything to fault. Beautiful in every respect. Claire and Emma were super helpful at all times. Great having kayaks, electric bikes, snorkeling equipment to use whenever we wanted and there were always plenty available. Location was great for us, quiet and away from too many other people. The beach as far as you could see was normally deserted. Bus service available outside and Emma will sort a taxi if you need it."
