Pine Grove Motel

"I just love this classic little motel located off of a main road behind some big old pines. It's absolutely charming. The facilities are clean and the rooms are comfortable."

"The room was exceptionally clean. It as nice to have free wifi, as it's required for my job. The bed was okay. Nice hot water for my shower."

"I arrived late (after the office closed) but they accommodated the late arrival when I phoned ahead. Location is perfect when travelling from western Canada to Ontario - close to gas station, food, restaurant but you can still make an early getaway the next morning as it is on the eastern side of town. Also easy to get to when coming in from the west because you can bypass town all together by using the "Sixth Line East" detour. If you have a uH... truck with trailer, there is parking available that won't leave you boxed in the next day when you need to leave. Overall a nice, very clean, quiet and comfortable room."

"Clean but dated. A/C a little under powered for the room and not quiet. Room is lit by only 2 bedside lamps. If of advanced age and your eyesight is declining, that could be a problem. The small bar fridge could not keep my food and drinks cold overnight ( they warmed up in the car during the 14hour trip.)"

"The room was really clean. Bed was comfortable. Lots of great pillows. All in all really pleased."

"I often wonder why a room would have only 1 bedside table. Not convenient to have your phone charging across the bed from you. I liked the flavored coffee supplied, but my husband did not."

"I stay there all the time going through SSM. This time I had a sick dog, asked the owner for extra rags to help if she got sick, very accommodating. It's very comfortable and being close to the hwy, it's quiet."

"Alain was a great host, we've stayed a few times at his Motel and it has always been not only convenient, but comfortable also and a pretty reasonable price."

"Met all basic needs and they are a real pet friendly place, not a dog only friendly place like some other motels. Expedia and Bookings need to be more visually apparent with their pet friendly icon and not spell it out in the fine print of each and every listing. How about dog and cat icons instead of one pet icon."

"The weather that day was crappy snow and freezing rain. The motel was a great sage haven!!"
