"The hostal's location is very near to the amarillo cable car line and this makes it easy to get across the city. We found that you had to be prepared to walk around La Paz in general as the cable car stops are not always near the attractions in the city. The place did feel homely and the family were all very happy to welcome you. We were also greeted by an English speaker which was very much appreciated."
"There was a long stayer that made us feel a little uncomfortable at times. The hostal is also not named outside so would have been quite difficult to find if we weren't dropped off by the BoliviaHop company."
"The hostel is run by a happy family. They are helpful re local sites and tours. Communal kitchen is adequate. Beds are comfortable. The neighbourhood is residential and quiet."

"The hostel family was so helpful and accommodating. They did some washing for us which was much needed after several weeks travelling. The furniture and style of the hostel is quite dated but still very cosy."

"Warm welcome from our hosts when we arrived fairly late. Good location for the cable cars and general amenities. Felt like a quiet and safe area. Hosts helpful to book taxis into the city and they were very communicative on whatsapp."
"I was quite confused about the previous 9.6 booking.com ratings as I was disappointed when we arrived as it wasn’t consistent with the rave reviews. We booked a private room but it was anything but private with paper thin walls next to the dorms and the kitchen. We found the place quite grubby and in need of a deep clean and vacuum throughout. Be mindful when paying as they insisted we pay ‘their exchange rate’ rather than what was advertised on my booking app. This meant we lost out considerably making the basic room even more expensive. Maybe the dorm rooms are better? I will summarise to say that I don’t think my hostel/guesthouse standards are ridiculously high as we’ve travelled extensively so very aware of the realities of different country norms etc but do feel the reviews and price were incongruent with reality."
"We loved staying here! Beds are so comfy, hostel is in a great location only 5 minute walk from the yellow cable carts and around 25 minute walk into the city centre. Lovely hot showers and kitchen facilities. Staff are super friendly and helpful, 100% reccommened staying here in La Paz"

"This is a very nice place to stay in La Paz! Super nice neighborhood but the most important thing is how lovely the hosting family is! They are so helpful and kind! Beds are comfy, super nice and warm shower, you can use the kitchen and cook, and really nice vibe all around with very cool guests. Look no more, stay here :)"
