"Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Best breakfast I’ve had on my travels. Beautiful building and gardens - great place to relax. Lovely, communal but peaceful atmosphere."

"It is a 15min walk down to town which is quite hilly on the way up! Moto taxis only 5Bs each and take around 4 minutes though"

"Our stay at Hostal Serena was wonderful! The hostel is a little bit outside of the village in beautiful nature, but nevertheless it is only a few walking minutes away from the center of Samaipata. Also the host and the volunteers were very helpful. We were very pleased!"

"Beautiful hostel with a lovely garden and great views over Samaipata. Our room was one of the best we have stayed in South America- so spacious, beautifully decorated and a very comfy bed. The breakfast was super too! Lots of variety and very delicious."
