"The staff absolutely make this hotel outstanding, they are exceptionally polite, engaging and attentive. The concierge is very responsive and the little presents in the room on our arrival were most welcomed, especially that hat!!"

"A magical place. We had the Carl Suite with a patio and plunge pool overlooking Gustavia Harbor. The staff could not be more friendly and accommodating! Complimentary Clicquot upon our arrival with fresh fruit and sweets. Amazing restaurant with the best pepper steak I have had in a long time. Considering the other restaurants on the island, we found the restaurant extremely reasonable. Complimentary lounge chairs at Shell Beach. I can’t think of anything that was overlooked, and this is our 9th time on the island. We have stayed pretty much everywhere and rented a number of villas and hotels. This is first class and five stars!"

"It was perfection. Gorgeous chic large room fabulous views and incredible level of service. The food was also divine and the hotel is close to a world class beach."

"Very pleasant staff throughout — airport transfer, front desk, restaurant, housekeeping. Location has splendid views over Gustavia harbor, and relatively easy access to the restaurants and shops. Though the hotel is not on the beach, it is a short walk from a lovely public beach, Shell Beach at Anse de Grand Galet, where Shellona bar/restaurant is located. Breakfast food is somewhat standard, but the terrace overlooking the sea is delightful, with cool morning breezes and no direct sun."
"My room had an annoying very loud periodic vibration related to the water pipes. Whenever the pressurizing pump went on, the pipes vibrated and some water was forced out of the shower head even though the valve was closed. Fortunately this didn’t occur during the night. I can’t believe I’m the first person to observe this; the hotel should solve this problem. The bathroom also had an unusual feature in that the toilet and the open shower were in the same enclosure. This meant that for hours after using the shower, I had to walk over wet floor to use the toilet."
