"This is an excellent family run hotel which is clean and well maintained. You are politely welcomed (in English for me) and everything was explained. The breakfast was excellent and the location of the hotel is perfect for visiting the area. The hotel parking is worth paying for and is convenient at the rear of the hotel."

"Hotel Onderbergen is very conveniently-located, in easy walking distance to most of Gent, and is competitively-priced. The staff were communicative and clear with instructions for self-check-in as we arrived late after the reception had closed for the day. The room was basic but had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. The large bathroom was well-equipped and had a great shower! The hotel itself is stylish, though the very steep stairs to the top floor may not be suitable for anyone with mobility/balance issues."
