"The whole experience at Bergrose was fabulous. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the hotel was spotless and was a very relaxing place to hang around as the decor was both neutral and cozy. There was a wide choice of breakfast dates and evening meals were a gastronomic delight. I have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful family owned hotel. It’s in a quiet place with gardens and a stream - the atmosphere was ideal for slowing down and feeling calm and rested. The hotel is only a 15 minute walk from the centre of Strobl and Lake Wolfgangsee. The lake is amazing to walk around and for swimming and other water based activities. It is an easy boat ride to other lakeside villages and a bus ride to Bad Ischl which is worth a visit and to walk out from or take the cable car up to the mountains for walks or simply to admire the views."

"Missing air conditioning system in the room (can imagine it's not needed that much in this place but if hot summer days like we had during our stay it's really too hot in your room in the evening). Breakfast not bad but could be better - eggs and bacon just upon request, portions then really small."

"Super schönes Hotel, sehr sauber, unglaublich liebevoll geführt von der Familie. Das Frühstücksbuffet war toll und sehr vielfältig und wir hatten Glück, spontan abends im Restaurant noch einen Tisch zu bekommen. Unser Zimmer war sehr schön und gemütlich. Wir haben viele Tipps für die Umgebung bekommen - sehr warme Atmosphäre insgesamt :)"

"Der einzige Punkt, der uns "gestört" hat: Es hat ein Wasserkocher oder eine kleine Kaffeemaschine gefehlt. Auf Minibars wird aus Nachhaltigkeitsgründen verzichtet, was einleuchtet, aber wir hätten gern morgens auf dem tollen Balkon schon einen ersten Kaffee genossen :) Etwas längere Öffnungszeiten der Sauna wären schön, waren ggf. aber auch der Jahreszeit geschuldet."

Büffet mit Nüssen und Früchten) Tolle Auswahl beim Frühstücksbüffet Rezeption ständig besetzt, man bekommt immer was man braucht und das stets zuvorkommend und freundlich Super süßer kleiner Store im Hotel direkt, perfekt für außergewöhnliche Mitbringsel oder Erinnerungsstücke"
